Terms of Use

Are you a club operator? These terms apply to consumers who use SnagATime to discover and book venues. If you operate a facility and use SnagATime as your booking and operating software, see the Merchant Terms of Service, which govern your relationship with SnagATime.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and SnagATime LLC ("SnagATime", "we", "us", or "our"), a Washington limited liability company. They govern your access to and use of the SnagATime website, mobile applications, and other services that link to these Terms (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. What SnagATime is

SnagATime operates a marketplace and discovery platform for indoor activity venues, currently focused on indoor golf simulator facilities and expanding to other categories. We help you find facilities, book bays or other reservable resources, and communicate with the operators of those facilities.

SnagATime is not the operator of the venues listed on the platform. Venues are operated by independent businesses ("Operators") who are responsible for their facilities, services, staff, equipment, pricing, refund policies, and any commitments they make to you. SnagATime facilitates the relationship between you and the Operator but is not a party to the underlying booking transaction except as expressly stated in these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if older) to create an account or complete a booking. By using the Services you represent that you meet this requirement, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you will keep it accurate.

3. Accounts

  • You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must promptly notify us at admin@snagatime.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
  • One person may have one account; do not share an account with others.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, attempt to manipulate the platform, or behave abusively toward Operators or our staff.

4. Bookings, payments, and refunds

When you book a venue through SnagATime:

  • The booking creates a direct relationship between you and the Operator of the venue.
  • Pricing is set by the Operator. SnagATime displays pricing as the Operator has configured it.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe on behalf of the Operator under Stripe's terms of service.
  • Cancellation and refund policies are set by the Operator and presented at the time of booking. Read them before you confirm.
  • If you dispute a charge, contact the Operator first. If the issue is not resolved, contact SnagATime at admin@snagatime.com and we will assist where we can.
  • SnagATime is not responsible for refund decisions made by the Operator. Where we facilitate a refund at the Operator's direction, we are acting as the Operator's agent.

5. Your conduct

You agree to use the Services lawfully and respectfully. You will not:

  • Use the Services to harass, threaten, defame, or harm anyone, including Operators, their staff, or other users;
  • Make bookings you do not intend to honor, or repeatedly no-show or cancel in bad faith;
  • Misrepresent your identity, your party size, or other information relevant to a booking;
  • Attempt to circumvent payment, member-only access controls, or Operator booking rules;
  • Scrape, copy, or reproduce content from the Services except as expressly permitted;
  • Probe, attack, or attempt to compromise the security of the Services;
  • Use the Services to send unsolicited commercial messages.

Operators may set additional rules for their facilities (dress code, equipment use, age restrictions, etc.). When you book at a venue, you agree to follow that venue's rules.

6. Content and intellectual property

  • SnagATime content — the platform, design, code, copy, logos, and other materials we create — is owned by SnagATime and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for their intended personal purpose.
  • Operator content — listings, photos, descriptions, hours, pricing, and other content provided by Operators — is the property of the respective Operator. SnagATime displays this content under the license Operators grant to us.
  • Your content — reviews, comments, photos, and other content you submit — remains yours. By submitting content to the Services, you grant SnagATime a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, distribute, and modify your content in connection with operating and promoting the Services. You represent that you have the rights to grant this license and that your content does not infringe anyone else's rights.
  • We may remove user-submitted content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, at our discretion.

7. Communications

By creating an account or completing a booking, you agree to receive transactional communications from SnagATime and the Operators of facilities you book at — including booking confirmations, reminders, door codes, receipts, and account-related notices — by email and, where you have provided a phone number and opted in, by SMS.

SMS opt-in, opt-out (reply STOP), help (reply HELP), message frequency, and other SMS practices are described in our Privacy Policy. Message and data rates may apply.

8. Third-party services

The Services integrate with third-party services including payment processors (Stripe), SMS providers (Twilio), and others. Your use of those third-party services is subject to those providers' own terms and policies. SnagATime is not responsible for the conduct of third-party providers.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SNAGATIME DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION (INCLUDING OPERATOR LISTINGS) WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

OPERATORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR FACILITIES, SERVICES, AND COMMITMENTS. SNAGATIME DOES NOT ENDORSE, CERTIFY, OR GUARANTEE ANY OPERATOR'S SERVICES.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SNAGATIME WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

SNAGATIME'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO SNAGATIME (NOT INCLUDING AMOUNTS PAID TO OPERATORS) IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SnagATime, its affiliates, and their officers, employees, and agents from claims arising out of your use of the Services in violation of these Terms, your conduct at any Operator facility, or your violation of applicable law.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes arising out of or related to these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Island County, Washington, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time and request account deletion by emailing admin@snagatime.com. SnagATime may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) will survive.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through the Services. Your continued use of the Services after a change indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
